Tips for clean results
- Whistle steady, sustained notes with small gaps between them — the gaps are how note boundaries are found.
- Get close to the mic in a quiet room; background noise hurts pitch tracking.
- Whistling sits high, so the raw octave is lifted; use Octave → auto to land in a comfortable right-hand range, or set it by hand.
- Turn on Rhythm → quantize and set the tempo to snap notes onto a beat grid before exporting MIDI.
