Conference Paper2026

Causal Inference Testing in MVL Signals

Extends the Rubin Causal Model and Pearl's structural model to multi-valued logic (MVL) signals. Introduces a statistical testing approach for causal inference on discretized physiological and synthetic MVL sequences, including propensity score formulations and state-transition graph construction. Presented at ISMVL 2026 (IEEE International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic). Co-authored with Evelyn Tadlock and Allison Reed.

Workshop2026

Applied Bioinformatics: A 2-Day Hands-On Workshop

Two days, eight modules, nine runnable Jupyter notebooks — CLI/bash automation, FASTA/FASTQ/SAM/VCF parsing, QC and trimming, alignment, GATK variant calling, RNA-seq with DESeq2, and visualization. All notebooks embedded inline; pipelines, environment files, and a synthetic chr22 capstone dataset are downloadable.

Invited Talk2026

KAIROS: Adaptive Trial Design via Per-Gene RNA Pol II Speed Profiles

Presents the KAIROS framework for adaptive trial design using per-gene RNA Pol II speed profiles, sequential Bayesian boundaries, and operating-characteristic analysis.

Conference Presentation2025

Adaptive Design Speed-Profile Viewer

Per-gene adaptive design viewer -- methods, server architecture, speed-profile readouts, and the statistical story behind the tool.
